Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Flowen Tracker handles information when you use the app, website, and subscription features. We design the product to keep sensitive cycle and wellness data private and as local to your device as possible.

Information You Add to the App

Cycle logs, symptoms, mood entries, notes, and related health or wellness information you add in Flowen Tracker are stored locally on your device by default. We do not maintain our own server-side database of your personal cycle history.

  • No account is required to use the app.
  • Your entries stay on-device unless you enable Apple-managed sync or backups.
  • Exports you create are generated on your device and shared only when you choose to share them.

iCloud Sync and Apple Services

If you enable iCloud sync in Flowen Tracker, your app data may be stored and synchronized using Apple's iCloud / CloudKit infrastructure associated with your Apple account. Apple handles that processing under its own privacy terms.

  • iCloud sync is optional.
  • Disabling iCloud sync stops future syncing, but copies previously synchronized through Apple services may remain in your iCloud account according to Apple's policies.
  • We do not independently access or sell your iCloud-stored health entries.

Subscriptions and Purchase Data

When you purchase or restore a subscription, transactions are processed by Apple. We use Apphud to help manage subscription status, product availability, and purchase-related events in the app.

  • Apple handles billing information and payment credentials.
  • Apphud may receive subscription identifiers, product identifiers, purchase state, and paywall event data needed to provide purchase functionality.
  • We do not receive your full payment card information from Apple.

Analytics and Diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics and PostHog to understand how the app is used, which screens or features are opened, and how the paywall or onboarding performs. This helps us improve stability, usability, and product decisions.

  • These services may process technical data such as app events, device and app version information, locale, and general usage patterns.
  • We do not use these services to sell your health data.
  • We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in Flowen Tracker.

Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

You can delete entries inside the app, disable iCloud sync, or remove the app from your device. Because your core data is stored locally or through Apple-managed sync, deleting local data may make it unrecoverable unless a backup remains in your Apple account.

  • You can choose whether to enable iCloud sync.
  • You can manage subscriptions through your App Store settings.
  • You can stop using the app at any time.

Children, Changes, and Contact

Flowen Tracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own backend systems. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app or legal requirements evolve.
